Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks was an American actor, most famous for her portrayal of Joan Holloway. She played the role for seven seasons of the historical comedy Mad Men from 2007-2015. The series won her critical appreciation as well as an impressive six Emmy award nominations in the category of best support actress class. Over the course of her 20-year career she also gained recognition for her part in comedy drama Another Period, a crime thriller dubbed Tin Star. In movies, she is acclaimed by her character as a character in Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River The Neon Demon The Strangers: Prey at Night Egg and American Woman. She has also provided her voice for animations such as From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 or Scoob! Prior to that, she started her career as a model and carried on for quite a while before her first appearance on television with the anthology show Undressed which premiered in the year 1999. Her first substantial role came in the comedy drama series Beggars and Choosers following which was also recognized for her part in the popular show Firefly. Esquire magazine honoured her with the distinction of being the sexiest and the most beautiful American woman in the year 2010 as part of their annual survey.
